However they start by fleeing to safety when they first hear of an attack but they also defend themselves especially when a young one is in trouble. Horses are very curious creatures also. They are curious creatures and startle quickly at the start of a fight and will resist attacking and first they will perceive whether the opponent is threatening or not. If its not then they do not flee from it. Horses are very easy going animals and can fit into a certain environment over the passage of time. They become immune to other animals and even humans where possible over time and this makes them very social creatures. They are compatible in there surroundings and form companion ship easily.

For Horses to get accustomed to humans they need to spend some quality time with them so that they tend to recognize their scent and so can form a close bond with them. They tend to give problems if they are isolated for some time and will be difficult to manage. To avoid this type of behaviour proper training and a close bond with the trainer is required. Their vocal communication is also a way of informing people of how they become if isolated for too long.

Usually the neigh or make whining noises however when they become isolated the sound becomes a disgruntled sound which is not pleasant to hear, this also happens when they are not given any sort of exercise or stimulation.
