It is a hoofed animal and is a mammal by genre. It belongs to the family of Equidae and is one the eight kinds that are found in that family. Horses are one the toughest animals found on the planet. They are classified as warm- blooded animals and there are over three hundred breeds of horses present in the world of today. It went from a multi-toed animal since it was born millions of years ago but over time they changed now we find single toed horses. Their extraordinary skills such as heavy weight bearers, fast runners, swimmers make them one of the most powerful ones of the lot.

They have a silky shiny and hard coating for skin and are hoofed animals that require shoes for running. Those are called horse-shoe. Horses are used by human for their work, mostly which requires lifting heavy materials since they are very strong. There are a wide variety of horses varying from wild ones to tame ones and they all have an ancestral linkage to that. Horses are used in many ways by humans. They are sometimes kept as pets on farms, before they were used in warfare because of their speed, lifting heavy work, entertainment purposes like riding and recreational activities.

Nowadays, horse-riding has become a common sport and many derivatives have also derived from it such as horse racing competitions, polo and also because of the fact that they can jump high heights jockeys are being trained to perform such gimmicks with their trained horses. Horses are also used for many by-products as their skin and hair is used to make consumer products. Also meat is derived from them and other sorts of products which are further refined to make consumer goods.
